Last year Advanced Dental Laboratories launched a campaign to try to get more dentists discussing how mental health issues can affect our teeth. We began with a project to fix Laura Dennison’s teeth, who runs the blog Not Plant Based and who suffered with bulimia for a number of years.
As a good will gesture, we offered to give Laura a new smile and to give her the best dental care while considering her past history with poor mental health. Our campaign caught the eye of a producer at BBC’s Woman’s Hour, and Laura appeared on the show to chat more about this topic.
